Most of us have abandoned the Jersey assent line for the reasons mentioned 
and use an assent reel instead. When I did use the Jersey line it was rigged 
between the two tanks with an upper and lower rubberband. On the lower end a 
line went up under the band and back down to a D-ring on the tank or the 
harness. By pulling out and down on the line it would free the lower end of 
the reel, pulling more would dislodge the upper end. As far as the 50 lb. 
liftbag it seems 100 would be a better choice. Especially if there is any 
current, and most cool artifacts weigh more. I have deployed my Jersey line 
several times no problem, but not for assent, but for artifacts. (Janet and
