I have developed some decompression software which I have tested for the
last year on MS Windows. The next step is to implement a version on a
palmtop computer. Does anyone have any experience with palmtops -- are
there any which support Java and are reasonably inexpensive?

I am not a nerd, I am having to teach myself about computers and
programming as I go so any advice is much appreciated.

At the moment it runs a parallel deco model based on Buehlmann, but I am
not a big fan of parallel models. Does anyone have any alternatives? I'm
having trouble finding a lot of sources which cover serial models in much
detail, anybody come across some good books?
