I'll move into the pro-IWR corner with Rich. One question, though, for Rich in
particular: given that you have all the necessary tools (thermal protection,
gas supplies, maybe a full face mask, good environment, safety divers, surface
support, hang lines to control depth, whatever you feel is necessary to balance
the risk and benefits) 

would you use a deep air spike? Do you feel that you basically have to, when
you don't have O2 along? what about a deep air spike before the O2 sequence?

as I understand it, the deep spike is falling into disfavor, but that might
only be when there is O2 available. If I recall correctly from AquaCorp, most
chambers only go deep for AGE, I believe to 160 feet (table 6a?) and for
simpler DCI go only to 60 feet (table 6?), maybe on EAN50?
