It can be difficult to find what you want in the archives. The archives are great, and I have extensively mined them, as readers of my web site have probably noticed. A FAQ is not an archive, nor is it an intro into a subject. Most FAQs are simply the most frequently asked questions, with the consensus answer(s). I think that Nick Simicich's rec.scuba FAQ, at http://scifi.squawk.com/scuba.html, is excellent. Why don't we put something similar together?
