Craig, It is unbelievable what people still come up with when it comes to changing= the proven DIR system. Why do you want your valves near your butt? For easier access? I do not see= any problem with turning valves behind my head. Anyway, you will find a number of reasons why you do not like this approach.= =20 First of all, finding a leak. you just hear bubbles coming from your butt= (much like a continous fart) and you have no clue what valve to close. With the valves behind your head you know right away if you need to close= left or right. Second, the hoses are all longer than necessary and special lenghts you need= to buy custom made. Third, the hoses come from your ass and might be interfering in all kinds of= ways with the rest of your configuration. Fourth, when you donn your equipment you need to rest the cylinders on the= valves, or you need to make your own nice casing or someting stupid to= avoid that. Actually, I saw somebody do this at Ginny Springs and I must= say it looked really stupid... And there are many more reasons when you start thinking it through, like the= back d-ring on your crotch strap that becomes unusable because you need to= be able to reach for your isolator in this configuration. Actually, when I= saw that guy in Ginny, I could not understand what makes a person do such= things... Can you?
