I recently purchased a Rix SA-6, (electric 6 cfm/min.). This is an oiless
compressor, so you have hydrocarbon free air being produced without filtration.
I did purchase the 3 lb. filter along with an extra moisture separator. This
unit is available in gas power also. The bare unit will run you about $5400.00.
It is possible to get a small break on that price with a little persuasion.
I have nothing bad to say about the Rix. It is very easily maintained and
you can repair it yourself with a small amount of mechanical ability.
