This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --part0_920511358_boundary Content-ID: <0_920511358@in*.ma*.ao*.co*.1> Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII At Dell Motes suggestion I will forward this to the entire list. I would like input from any other Eod types lurking on the list as to thoughts about the "HEDGEHOG" and "MOUSETRAP" ASW ordinance found around many sunken U-boats. And for Paul Johnson,Cmdr. USN Ret., Yes Paul I know I miss quoted the warhead weight. It is 26 Kg. each, the 98 Lb. war head I quoted, belongs to the MK 110 or MK 114 ASW mortar and has a Hydrostatic firing Mechanism (It is still dangerous!) But both the HEDGEHOG and MOUSETRAP will be indistinguishable to the sport diver and both have real killer potential. (as does any ordinance) but I believe these deserve particular attention. I would still like to hear from any others who has had to deal with these Items. --part0_920511358_boundary Content-ID: <0_920511358@in*.ma*.di*.co*.2> Content-type: message/rfc822 Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Content-disposition: inline Return-Path: <dell@di*.co*> Received: from rly-yb03.mx.aol.com (rly-yb03.mail.aol.com [172.18.146.3]) by air-yb01.mx.aol.com (v56.26) with SMTP; Wed, 03 Mar 1999 10:51:24 -0500 Received: from mail.isgroup.net (mail.winterguard.com [205.216.76.4]) by rly-yb03.mx.aol.com (8.8.8/8.8.5/AOL-4.0.0) with ESMTP id KAA23523 for <GDPLEDGER@ao*.co*>; Wed, 3 Mar 1999 10:51:23 -0500 (EST) Received: from dr8.isgroup.net ([205.216.76.10]) by mail.isgroup.net (Post.Office MTA v3.1.2 release (PO205-101c) ID# 0-59037U3000L300S0) with SMTP id AAA246 for <GDPLEDGER@ao*.co*>; Wed, 3 Mar 1999 10:52:18 -0500 Message-ID: <004e01be658e$8f57a600$6c64a8c0@dr*.is*.ne*> From: "Dell Motes" <dell@di*.co*> To: <GDPLEDGER@ao*.co*> Subject: Re: U-2513 & Rhein Hamburg dives Date: Wed, 3 Mar 1999 10:57:37 -0500 X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 4.72.2106.4 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V4.72.2106.4 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable That is some excellent info. I don't touch any ordinance, and I would hope most divers have the same respect. (Doubtful, but we can always hope ;-) Y= ou should forward that to the list, that is good stuff.
