John, I use the classic wings on my BC for doubles then use it when on travel (usually the cylinder will be an AL80). The wings tend to hang upward around the cylinder if one is overweighted. I find that I need no weight in warm water so use very little air for buoyancy and so the wing hanging is minimal. The wing in this configuration can also trap air a little (meaning that one needs to get upright to dump air from the wings). I would recommend going to the smaller set of wings for single tank use.
