Ken, I use the Mares synchro tech as my main diving rig. I like how secure the tank or tanks feel with the large cumberbun and chest lip. The weight integration is very comfortable also. I also like that it has a 65lb lift bag that is adequate enough for any of the dives that I do in Northern California. The only thing that I have found that is a little annoying is that the BC tends not release all the air out of the bag if your horizontal. I have learned how to get around this being that the synchro tech has 4 air dumps with rip cords. You can release air from almost any position once you are familiar with the rig. The change from a single to a double setup is a little time consuming too. I purchased this bc after I had too many problems with a scubapro outback. Have fun and Safe diving Matt Rockwell ISD System Support Specialist -----Original Message----- From: Bendall Ken [mailto:ken.bendall@de*.ns*.ed*.au*] Sent: Wednesday, February 03, 1999 5:44 PM To: techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: Mares Tech BCD - comments Hi, I'm looking at getting the Mares Syncro Tech BCD. Has anyone used this or got any comments/problems known with it? Thanks Ken -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
