Kevin- Well, yeah, you would notice that your gauge is not moving. My point was that if the gauge was reading incorrectly you should be able to recognize that fact from having a pretty good feel of what your air usage *should* be at any given point in time. ie if you have been down X minutes and you know that you on this sort of dive you normally would have used, say 1500psi at this point and your gauge says you've used only 500psi, what would you do, believe the gauge or your experience?
