Jim You are wrong with this advise , just remember this summer when you sent me a newbie w/ doubles rigged DIR , you do not do this unsupervised , that diver was in over his head in gear he may in time be ready for it , but he must first be shown what to do with it . Not everyone progresses as easily and fast has you did , some need real help . You can not learn to dive on this list , sooner or later you must get in the water . Things become very different then , you can not open a book or go to web site to save your ass .. You are very smart , you have been on the boat and seen divers that should not be in doubles.This guy may be one how do know he is ready , he could hurt himself or someone else .Stop and think about what you know and have seen , you will know I'm right.
