Interesting Kevin. I just witnessed a diver drain his 30 on a 20' stop. BTW, he had no spg. He had a mk10/g250. Interemediate pressure should be about 145 psi. Ambient pressure absolute at 20fsw = about 23.6 psi. After a conversation with this diver I turned his 30 upside down, opened the valve and guess what? Mucho Agua!
