Jim you are right burst disks are useless and dangerous.  The fire department in
Sweden have done tests on scuba tanks rated for 200bar (3000 psi). At 1200 bar
(17000 psi)   they started to leak from the neck o-ring.  There is no need for a
burst disk what so ever.
