Dave,

Yeah, it's a DOS thing. I am not a DOS expert but I'll give it a shot.

Instead of running zplan from windows explorer you need to go to the dos
prompt and run it from there. Best to find someone who has basic
understanding of dos but here is what you do.

Click on Start, then select "programs" and then MS-DOS Prompt (it will be
toward the end of the list of programs). This will give you a "black
screen" with nothing but some white letters that look something like

"C:\WIN31>"

This means that you are looking at the folder "WIN31" of drive "C".

Now you have to know where your zplan files are located. Let's say they
are on your "C" drive in a folder named "zplan". If they aren't then put
them there to make this easier on yourself. You can do this in windows
mode. Once they are there proceed as follows.

Type "cd\zplan" press the enter key and you should see

"C:\zplan>"

This means that you are now looking in the "zplan" folder of drive "C"

To see what is there type "dir" and press the enter key. The contents of
the folder will scroll out before you on the screen.

To execute zplan from the prompt you would type

"zplan" press the enter key and the program will run.

To execute it with the "tissue save enabled" type
"zplan -s" and it will run and it will display "tissue save enabled"
while it is running.

That should do it.

These DOS operating instructions could indirectly kill you, and probably
has bugs. The author does not warrant that it accurately Microsoft's
intended method of operating from the DOS Prompt and that it won't delete
everything on your hard drive or that it will produce safe, reliable,
results. These instructions are experimental, and you use them at your
own risk. Operating from the MS DOS Prompt in general is fraught with
risk, and a windows trained operator adds significantly more risk.
Operating from the DOS prompt while utilizing multiple gasses, including
Helium, is about as risky as it gets, especially if you choose to utilize
a closed-circuit rebreather.

Just kidding. Good luck and remember, Dave, you can always trust a guy
named Dave.
