Anthony, In the US, the neckstrap on the single hose regulators was phases out back in the early 70's as a "HAZARD". Since then, I don't think I have seen a single hose reg that comes new with a neck strap. Thus, the comment about tech divers "going back" to neck straps. I agree wholeheartedly that a small, streamlined neutral rebreather is probably the winner hands down when it comes to mimimizing drag for comparable bottom line allowed. I also second the motion for neck straps with rebreathers (and/or double hose regulators). Nemrod is apparently the only company (unless there is one in Russia) that continues to make and market a modern double hose regulator. John Submariner Research, Ltd. (johncrea@de*.co*)
