Don't really know what NAVSEA stands for. They publish a lot of dive related information. Part of the Freedom of Information Act allows for "classified" information to be excluded from any material delivered and guess who gets to decide what is classified? The agency that develops the information! As to the physical layout of the unit I don't have the slightest idea. As i said in my post I'm looking for it for a friend of mine not me. My approach was to hit the Patent office for a search of all patents that had the word rebreather in the filing. We found Stones stuff and some others. I haven't got around to getting the copies yet. As I understand it (someone tell me if i'm in error) a patent only precludes commercial reproduction (i.e. you could build your own unit, but couldn't sell, trade, barter, lease or rent it). On my last visit to Florida I saw a fellows homemade rebreather. Looked relatively simple to construct (but so does an atomic bomb). Don't ask me for details or names as I figure if he wants to share details of his project he will do so. Later r.b.
