NEW WORLD'S RECORD Based on the accuracy of Dr. Stone'a mapper we have discovered that our first stage drop, which his team nearly reached on January second in an historic dive after 37 days of effort ( and a fine performance at that), which we called 2000 feet into the cave is in fact 3992 feet in. This new information now places the end of the line at 20,057 feet. If I had known that we were that far out I would have been scared shitless. I am also now very concerned for my health since I only decompressed for a six hour bottom time and now come to find out it was more like 19 hours based on Dr. Stone's Bottom Time Formula ( 2 X the run time from the surface back to 160 feet). I like breaking my own records without diving. Also learning from Dr. Stone, what we might do is go ahead and claim that we did the virtual rality map of the cave and that we spent the million dollars, since he is claiming and telling Park visitors that his people went 3 1/2 miles in into the cave and "explored" it. Since his 37 days of chicken choking is far more impressive than our litle Piker Weekends, I think we will just start calling ourselves the "deep Caving Team". After all, they call themasleves "the group that is exploring Wakulla". -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
