France, January 5

Happy New Year.

Most of the time, when talking about the partial pressure of a gas (and more
generally when talking about pressure and diving) we use "bars".

1 ATA = 1.013 bar = 1013 hectopascals = 1.033 Kgf / cm^2
1 bar = 1.02 kgf / cm^2
1 bar = aprox.14.5 psi (with 1 kg = 2.202 pounds and 1 cm = 0.393 inch).

Best rgds.

Thierry
