By who? Just about everyone I know considers the O2, or at least is aware
of the situation, and most of the better texts acknowledge that O2 is
narcotic. In the initial overselling of nitrox a lot of the agency texts
and promo material claimed it reduced narcosis, but I don't hear anyone
saying that anymore.
