Well I received a lot more response than I expected and I thank all of you for your feedback. I can not return the unit so I guess I learn to live with it while not depending on it. I must admit to some shock regarding the feedback on the reliability of this unit. I would think that a company that has been in this business for as long as they have would be more concerned with reliability and worked with customers to make a better product. From what I have heard here this is not the case. I have also seen the DOS software that used to come with these units and now the Windows software and this alone shows that the company doesn't appear to care about quality.
