(Hence coming down in favour of > sidemounts and reversed cylinders). Most divers that I know don't have to shift their gear, they reach back and turn the valves. I can reach all three quite handily. As a matter of fact if I am diving with someone who has to have me turn his air on because he CAN'T, I assume it is a solo dive and immediately close my isolation valve. The only cave diver that I ever saw dive with his tanks upside down recently killed himself in Little River outside Branford, Florida. btw I use a posieden Uni Suit. I just stretch a little harder and if needed push my elbow up with my other hand. r.b.
