Subject: Another DIR question...
As I was sitting here writing my holiday greeting cards, I began to
wonder about proper rigging for a long white beard. I mean, if any of us
are diving on Christmas, then Santa will have to come into a cave, or
down the smokestack of a wreck, and I was just wondering how he'd be
rigged for the dive. Of course he'll be rigged according to DIR
principle for the hardware, but I'm trying to figure out the beard. I
know he wouldn't tuck it down the front of his suit, as 'stuffed' things
are bad on a rig. At first I was thinking he could secure it with rubber
bands or surgical tubing, but then it occurred to me if he had a primary
beard failure, the bonded beard could be a tragic mistake.

So, I'll put the question to the list...what is the DIR method for
stowing long white fluffy beards?

Happy Holidays, and safe diving...

PS- In this time of having posts taken the wrong way, I guess I should
add my disclaimer. THIS POST IS INTENDED AS HUMOR. It should not be
inferred that fat men, with large, bowl-full-of-jelly-type cookie guts
should be technical diving. Of course, I guess the ability to pull off
amazing feats of strength, speed, and agility is something Santa Claus
is familiar with. Perhaps that's part of the magic of Christmas....
