Subject: Re: Printing Waterproof Tables
John,

I have done both -- laminate and waterproof paper. I prefer laminate -
here is how I do it its a little time consuming but well worth it. I
transfer the numbers from the table to a Lotus (Xcell) spreadsheet format
(i will put one on my web site if you like) the grid is three 4 colums wide
with first stop at 130 going to 0 fsw usuall from 45 minutes back down in
5 minute increments when printed out in large sheets (I havea variety of
depths 200, 210, 220, 230, 240 etc ..... I cut them out fold each table
sheet in half --- this is now the right size for a luggage tag laminator
(it has the little hole already in it) hot laminate them and BAM --- they
are done --- I have some now that have lasted over 6 years. WE also make 2
column tables better known as "speed tables" which just have depth and
runtime on them (Billy Deans uses that alot) they work very well they fit
in the palm of your hand or can be taped to the goodman handle of the
light, with a full set either in the pouch or pant pocket of dry suit.

To print out the large format of the Abyss is a little cumbersome for
underwater.

Hope this helps you.
