These are the references for the DCIEM 1983 Decompression Model that I
referred to yesterday. The first reference provides the Kidd-Stubbs 1971
(KS-1971) model, the approach to changing the KS-1971 model and the
resulting DCIEM 1983 model. The next two references contain the testing
of the model, and the fourth reference contains the resultant tables and
procedures for their use.
Subsequent to these publications DCIEM has modify the model and
produced two dive manuals. These are the last two references listed. In
these manuals some of the air profiles were modified and they included a 20
ft in-water O2 decompression table as well as Heli-Ox tables.
