Chris,

 Absolutely not!  No way, no how. If you come across any of these, contact me
immediately as the fin strap of choice for deep, shallow,wreck and cave divers
is useless for beach diving. Seriously. In fact if any of you out there own
spring straps and only beach dive I suggest you remove them immediately, place
them in a disposable all plastic container and email me for a mailing address
on where you can ship them for safe disposal, as they may also be hazardous to
the environment. Please remember if you do ship them to me, to put insurance
on them as their loss may cause the EPA to issue a stiff fine.

 Again, please use extreme caution.
