Check this out - Stone has been fumbling around trying to schnorr cave diving lights. He issued instructions to his operative, John Zumrick, to present Arnie Jackson with a list of light demands. It seems Stone has what he thinks are copies of our basic lights ( he has never seen the ones we use for long dives), and described the Gavin light ( which both Arnie and Rat make ) to Zumrick, only did so with vast scholarly references to calculations , depths, pressures, etc ( forget that we dive the freaking things where he pretends he is diving and that our Project Engineer, Bill Gavin, is NOT a civil engineer, or a "magazine" engineer, but a real engineer who designs vehicles, rebreathers, and other devices for the US Navy). This is all in the email back and forth between them, but when Zumrick responds to Stone that what he is describing is known as the "Gavin Light", Stone comes back and says, "my only problem with that design is that it is not Gavin , it is Stone, 1984". Direct quote. ------ pause while the laughter subsides ------ Here is my question for this deluded nutcase; "Bill, where is YOUR light, if you designed it? ( Too Funny ) Why are we waiting until we are already supposed to be diving to get cave lights? Why do your mutants not have their own cave lights? This is the US "Deep Caving Team" and the do not themselves have the gear to do the dives?" HELLO????. Who do you think you are kidding - nobody in cave diving, not even your own team who gleefully supplies us with this kind of information. Bill, most people PAY for things, give it a try. Arnie says no money, no lights, just like Dive Rite said on everything else. The more people see of you , the further away they get. Every last pro in the game is avoiding your project like the plague. Somebody forward this to him. By the way, Gavin and I had a huge laugh over this one today: Stone says he designed the light, but he does not have one, and he had to go borrow one to make up his "design" from, just like he did with the scooters ( only he got the wrong one - again , too funny). -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
