Brad was a brave, stand-up gentlemen in every sense of the words. He had dreamed of and was training to dive the Aurora and the Fitz, but health was not on his side this last go around. Brad and his team (top shelf) had been training HALCYON for six months. Certain physical obstacles which continued to impair Brad's awareness prompted a termination of his training several months ago. I have had his RB in my office every since. He was headed down to visit with us later this month and try to complete more training. I was thinking of calling him every morninig for the last couple of weeks, but he had this funky availibility schedule and I always missed the time window. Unbelievably enough Brad was actually teaching a mix class when he died-SOLO.
