Yep, that is true.  From the stndpoint of straight respiratory heat 
loss (that is the calories body has to transfer to the inspired gas to 
heat it from Tamb to Tbody) HeOx will require < than air or nitrox.  
This is a direct result of the specific heat diffrences of the various 
gases, He having a lower specific heat.

The 'feeling' is another matter, though real but not physical.  The 
feeling does not increase the heat lost by body to condition the gas.  
The feeling is a direct result of the local activation of nerves wh/ is 
being transmitted to the appropriate nerve center.

It is tantamount to touching a piece of wood & comparing the feeling to 
touching metal both equilibrated to the = Tamb.

The metal will feel 'colder', not because it is @ a lower temp, but 
because it conducts heat faster, thus robbing that portion of the skin 
of heat faster.  

He, due to it high heat conduction (light atoms bouncing about), it 
feels colder upon contact.
