The local shop uses concrete nails in their tumbler.
Seems to work well. looks like a few wheels and a 
1/4 horse motor from the hardware store would make
a decent tumbler. Local prices are $20 for a tumble.
If you have half a dozen tanks, making your own tumbler
makes sense.
