Does anyone know of a comparable >voltmeter which I could get in the US The plans at the website you mention are pretty dated - they are more or less from the original edition of the Oxy Hacker, and the plans in the new Hacker have been updated, and an alternate version added which uses a different meter, the PM 128 which many electronic suppliers in the USA carry. I've been using the original version wqith the DMD for a couple years now, and recently tightened up the calibration according to the newer plans. I also helped a friend build one recently using the PM128 meter, and feel the DMD is enough easier that its worth the extra $5 or so - especially seeing as how you can order by phone/credit card os it isn't any harder to get. Just be sure they send it first class mail so it doesn't get stuck in customs. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
