Preben, I do NOT like the M24x2 "Scubapro"-Valves. Using differently valves than those divers who do not have a propper education/knowledge/certification to handle EANx is a matter of safety when diving from the same base and boat. The problem in using the DIN-Air-Valve for EANx instead of the 3/4"-DIN-Valve is that you have a lot of divers who run around with oil-dripping regulators that fit into the DIN-Air-Valve and do not know that it might hurt them to screw it on a bottle with a green ribbon (or in Europe (new color-code): on a white painted tank). Ok, it might be a solution to wait and see what Europe does next with the Gas-standards, maybe they set up a new uniform Air-Valve and set the old German Air-Valve free for other usage. Or: to give the Air-Diver-Organisations a letter and advice them that R5/8" is the international TEC-code-thread for bottles that may contain pure Oxygen and that any diver wo uses R5/8" has to know about Oxygen-Safety-Rules.
