Several years ago I lost a pony bottle, reg and all, using a pony bag without
any mesh.  The one I was using (Sherwood type) simply came undone at the velcro
strap and fell off during my ascent.  I never could find it again.  From then
on I used (and still use) only metal hose clamps for ponies.
