Steve,
your Idea only works fine as long as you are alone.

Shit happens,    so on a base it is just a question of time:
If you do not use different valves for gases with differnt savety-rules
you will find a oc-air-diver that screws is oil-dripping regulator on your
Oxygen bottle.

So please do not bring things/ideas to the mass-market that are only save when
diving in 
specialist-groups. By the way, i do not like that Scubapro-Valve, 
i prefer the old german 3/4" oxygen-valve, i think it is more robust.
