It seems that regularly deaths are over pieces of kit that unlike lives are
so easily replaceable. This is more regular in non tech diving - people do
need to get into the mentality of not taking knee jerk reactions when they
loose or drop bits of kit.

It is a great shame if this is the case as detailed below as it is a waste
of a life.

Hi,
Speaking to the friends who are recompression chamber staff at nearby
Dunstaffnage
marine laboratory, the story from the boat cover is that Robert dropped his
mask at
the surface and went down to try and find it.  When he didn't reappear,
others
followed him to find him dead and completely out of air at the bottom,
without his
mask.

Seems very sad.
