Mailing List: techdiver

I have three Schumacher 12V 1.5A chargers that came with AUL lights. 
One of these stopped working a while ago, and now another looks like 
it has gone toes up to the daisys as well. I wonder if any of the 
list members has successfully repaired this model, or if anyone can 
recommend a more robust replacement. I've built lots of electronic 
devices, so if anyone has a reference to a good journal article or 
other source of information on homebrewing a decent charger, I'd 
appreciate that as well.
