Actually mister search and rescue the diver your jumping on is the one who did the body recovery at 240'. And he as all the information available from the witnesses and the M.E. As for the other's who want info on bondage wings that is simple go and do your own test. Take the lift rating of the wing and tighten that cord nice and tight and try to lift that much off of a sixty ft reef. I suggest that you do not use yourself as the test dummy (perhaps someone you really don't like) but a block of weights! Back a few years ago I used to dive the Super Wings from Diverite bondage. Funny thing happend I noticed that these 85lb rated wings were not giving me the lift of my 40lb non bondage wings. Bye bye bondage wings (they sit unused in my closet any S & M types care to buy them)? Now I am quite happy with my Halcyon 65lb explorer wings. Ray LaTulippe P.S. As for the noise level being dangerous to newcomers. I believe it serves to open their ears. I would rather have lots of noise against dangerous practice especially at the rate divers are DOA this year. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
