The only drugs I have not used or abused in my life are steroids ( only because I obviously never needed them, and would have used them if I had needed them to compete), or drugs that came into existence after I stopped using any . To put it into perspective that even a dumb ass like you can understnad, this means I have never had a wine cooler, or a "lite" beer. I am 47, you do the math, and let me know if I am missing something by not being a "player". Your fat asshole buddy, Brett Gilliam, can not make the same statement, and he in fact promotes the use and abuse of nitrogen in its narcotic state in his personal diving and in the courses taught by his agency, in my opinon and observation. He is correct in one statement he makes in the article ( I still can not find the "cocaine" comment ) and that is that I did in fact do a deep air dive with him. In fact, on that dive he told me he played football at Dartmouth, only when I asked a question about when I played against that same team , the subject changed to something else. I no longer do deep air dives, I no longer dive with air anywhere other than maybe in a place like Cozumel or Cayman, and then only shallow and only becuase I can not get the correct gas. The fact is I know exactly how dangerous deep air is, just as I now know exactly how dangerous drugs of any kind are, having been there and done both to the extreme, and now being in a position to deal with both in a prophalatic sense, the very reason Gilliam is so obsessed with shuting me up: if the insurance companies knew how dangerous deep air was, they would not insure Gilliam's TDI courses, and with the track record of accidents involving this and other agencies, it will not be much longer that they are able to get insurance , with or without my comments. Gilliam, like you , has only accomplished drawing more attention to the problem, and giving ME more power to deal with it. Thanks to Gilliam, I have a perpetual stack of requests to speak at all kinds of diving forums. The only one I have accepted lately is for Timothy O'Leary at Tek before DEMA in New Orleans, and only because O'Leary asked as a personal favor. O'Leary, himself a former deep air player, runs NAUI Tech Ops. He was just worried that I would get into an argument with Hal Watts. Not so, in fact Hal was diving with us at Wakulla this weekend, and Bill Mee stayed at his house. Go figure. Like you , Gilliam is bent on pursuing a vendetta through any means possible, and the reality is that I think of him the same way I think of you - insignificant in your own right, but a representation of the problem out there - misinformation, stupidity, and twisted bullshit, like your "anti-Semite" comment. Ask the 20 or so Jews on my team how anti-semitic I am. You are the one who somehow sees yourself as a "child of the Holocast" as you put it, that you have no stake in, yet feel the need to invoke like the Cross to the Vampire everytime somebody rightly accuses you of being a piece of shit, which you have proven you are. Maybe you can speak to my uncle, Lawrence Frank, who spent some quality time in a Nazi concentration camp in Poland before he was freed by the Russian tanks and fought with the Russian army across Germany into Berlin. Give him a call , asshole, talk to a real life tough guy who at his age would still get his his car, drive to your house, and beat you senseless for the kind of crap you are putting out here, and the pathetic shield you are hiding behind. The problem with people like you is that you have a tiny bit of information, no real experience, an active immagination, and a massive, well deserved, inferiority complex. You can not shut up, and like a yippy little lapdog jumping ,barking and humping legs for attention you feel the need to bother people like me and jerk us around. I feel no obligation to accomodate your idiotic suggestions as far as diving goes, and will continue to treat you and your pals with the contempt that you have earned. No amount of changing the subject, misdirection, accusations, or other bullshit will change the basic fact that I have the best track record in the sport, I run the most successful and innovative dive project ever, I am on the leading edge of real technique and gear development, I know what I am talking about, I have the records to prove it, and I am willing to freely give that information out to anyone who wants it. I have tapes, articles, reports , stories, maps , etc, and it is all on our web site for freeloading vagrants like you to download and enjoy. However, I am not willing to argue the "perversions" of that with you , or with anyone else. Until somebody does it better, and that is not happening, I do not want to hear your "opinion" of how it should be "modified". I am primarily an ocean and wreck diver, cave is secondary, so do not even get started on that score. Drop the personal bullshit, and let's see if you , or any of your pathetic allies can stand in here and argue with me on any subject of diving and come out looking anything but absolutely ridiculous. And by the way, of the 129 Inspirations sold, do you want to bet with me that at least fifty had some electronic "problem" at some point, or are you again just showing that not only do you have no understanding of rebreathers ( a device you do not now nor ever will own), but that you are in fact cluelessly out of the loop on anything to do with reality in any form?
