Hi All, Mike Menduno charged me with the task of writing a brief article describing Internet resources for technical divers. I know a fair bit about this list, although not everything: 1) I know the correct address for subscribing, but where should people put the word "SUBSCRIBE"? In the "Subject" line? In the Body of the text? Both? It's been so long since I first subscribed that I can't remember which. 2) I know how to access the Aquanaut archive through gopher, but what are some of the other methods? What about people on Compuserve, AOL, Prodigy, etc...how do they access it? 3) Is anyone aware of any other Internet resources for technical-type divers? Any information would be greatly appreciated! I've tried to explain to Mike that I'm not really the person who ought to write such an article, but that excuse hasn't got me out of my obligation. Also, if anyone has any ideas on what sort of format they might like to see as a regular feature in AquaCorps reporting on network activity by technical divers, I'm wide open to suggestion (how does one encapsulate all that is the Techdiver forum in a few hundred words printed on a magazine page!?!?!) Incidently, for all those who have complained that A/C does not come out regularly/frequently enough; I'm getting a VERY strong impression they are taking such complaints seriously... They seem to be much better organized and are presently working on the next TWO issues - they are serious about actually cranking 4 whole issues out in a year. The reason I just said all of that is to convey the immediacy with which I need to put this article together....deadline is already passed and they're breathing down my neck for the article ASAP.....
