I have used Dramamine for years for seasickness. I have seen hundreds of divers use it. While it certainly makes you sleepy, I can not belive that any reasonable dose would cause yoy to fall assleep on the bottom !!! I have, and have seen many people take naps on the boat. but not in the water. I have dozed off durring deco, only to be startled awake when the reg slips from my mouth. Durring deco I purposely relax and try to nod off to pass the time. (without having taken Dramamine) I was not there I do not KNOW what happened to Richard I can not belive that Dramamine would cause you to fall so hard asleep DURRING the dive, that you would drown in your sleep with out waking up. He could have been lost, ran out of gas and drown while consious. with out tearing off gear. He may have been too afraid to breath his deco gas at depth.
