So my 12 year old daughter calls me at work today and asks me if I dive the
Andrea Doria. I tell her yes I do. She then ask me not to dive the Andrea
Doria anymore. I ask her why. Amy, my daughter replies, "because I don't want
you to die daddy."
To which I reply, " why do you think I would die?" Amy then says, "because in
the NY NEWSDAY there is a big story about 3 divers who died on that wreck, so
promise me you won't ever dive it again...please!"

After that, I get a call from my wife and then my mother-in-law about the same
thing.

This is just great! Now my young daughter is going to be worried sick about
me every time I go on a dive charter. This will also subdue her fledgling
interest in learning how to dive herself. Great! Just Great!
