I tell her yes I do. She then ask me not to dive the Andrea Doria anymore. I ask her why. Amy, my daughter replies, "because I don't want you to die daddy." To which I reply, " why do you think I would die?" Amy then says, "because in the NY NEWSDAY there is a big story about 3 divers who died on that wreck, so promise me you won't ever dive it again...please!" This is just great! Now my young daughter is going to be worried sick about me every time I go on a dive charter. This will also subdue her fledgling interest in learning how to dive herself. Great!
