Can someone please provide the current training agency guidelines [any =
and all agencies] regarding need for O2 cleaning of standard scuba =
equipment for "recreational" Nitrox diving [up to 36% O2]. Two equipment =
manufacturers, Scubapro and Seaquest, say O2 cleaning is required for =
any O2 content above "regular" air. The IANTD Enriched Air Nitrox manual =
[Dick Rutkowski, 1993] suggests that O2 cleaning is not required when O2 =
is less than or equal to 40% and this was/is the NOAA standard since the =
mid-70's. Guidelines from equipment manufacturers and personal =
experiences are also welcome.

Many thanks from a lurker,
