Subject: Re: Death was a Bigot
Pete, when you do it, we'll listen to you. We can not tolerate high ppo2
for that kind of exposure without toxing and without extreme damage to
the lungs and all other tissues, and why do it when it is not necesary?
You do it out of fear of deco. We are diving less than 1.0 at the
bottom, and then ranging from about 1.5 down to 1.0 at the steps, which
are punctuated by breaks to the 10% oxygen trimix through 50 feet. That
does in fact counter the effect of the high oxygen, Pete. Our ability to
metabolize oxygen , the high vascuarlity , the extreme conditioning, and
the lack of fat means we have as much going in our favor as we can.

You do not understand the environment ( caves , extreme diving), and you
do not have a grip on the hyperbaric effects either, apparently. We do
, we do it. I am responsible for a whole team, I went to the best for my
information, I use it , we follow it, it works, and we have the track
records to prove it. What I can not understand is how I can do this over
and over and you keep telling me I can not do it, and everyone who does
exactly what I do gets the same results. You think you have it figured
out, and yet the guys who really do this with rebreathers at Navy have
much different answers than you do. They agree with me.

You can call (Doctor) Commander Chimiak, the Navy's Chief Hyperbaric
Physician, and tell him he is a dumb ass, and that I am a jerk, and see
what he says to you about that. Your bitter little tirade will not
change the fact that we do it, and you do not.

By the way , wiseguy, the PCO2 is a function of VO2 Max. What makes
you so dangerous is that you really do not know why we can not hold the
oxygen ppo2 up for all the stops, and you have MD after your name none
the less. That is fine for your little bounce dives, Pete, try it for
360 minutes at 300 and tell me about it.

And what is this idiot Duffy doing on here? He tried to say the semis
had the worst record, obviously due to the Atlantis - a piece in my
opinion.

Knock off the spelling crap and the sexual references, as well as the
personal crap, and this homophobic insanity ( where the hell does that
always come from?) and I might decide to give you information. That
will be under the condition that you stop viewing me as the enemy, and
start taking responsibility for your talk. Pete, when you get down to
the spelling issue, I am quite sure it is the demonstration of your
personal hatred. I have no control over what my guys do when you go
after them. They are obviously even more nasty than you are.

Nothing any of you or your pals can do will ever stop our train, so
either figure out how to work with us, or get out of the way.

I can see that sending you private email means I better be sure to check
the spelling, but I have no spell checker, and no time, Pete. I will
just leave out anything important that you might try to use against me,
and continue on. I keep forgetting about the sensitivity of you guys.

Does anyone have a site I can download a spellchecker from? And what is
this contant reference out of the West Coasties about my "size". As far
as I know, I am 5' 10" 175 lbs . Is there something wrong with that? Am
I some kind of mutant? Where does all of this bs come from?
