I've had it 2 or 3 times. Usually when ascending at the shallowest point of the dive, ei after 20 fsw stop. The spinning is characteristic. Sometimes nausea is envolved. I just keep ascending slowly like I know I am, not how I feel I am. I concentrate on not barfing until on the surface if I can help it. After that I get to the doc who checks me for vistibular bends and barotrauma. For me its been transient and benign.
