For those of you who shoot rifles or pistol, you can make a quick and
dirty punch by taking a suitable calibre shell (I think a 30 cal shell
will work for a P-valve) and sharpening the mouth of the casing using a
fine file or band sander. It is a single use tool as the brass collapses
the first time you hit it (Which means, students? Don't hold it with your
fingers).

But if you put a good edge on the mouth of the case, put your fabric or
neoprene on a soild wood backing and give it a good whack, it will cut
anything softer than brass.

For the idiots out there, you want to use a *spent* cartridge who's
primer is dented, don't pull the bullet out of a case to use, for christ
sakes. And whatever you do, don't spend the bullet by holding the pointy
end up to your forehead and hitting the primer with a tack hammer.

Some of you *might* get away with putting the bullet in one ear, hitting
it with said hammer, the bullet will then pass through empty space and
out the other ear. But make sure your superwings aren't in the line of
fire or you might puncture both bladders.

 Jim
