Yup, there's the problem.
There's no debate here, Mike.
You can learn what they have to teach, or you can go somewhere else. Like
PADI, who will give you different answers. If you shop around, I'm sure
you'll find a set of answers you like, delivered in a tone that you can
handle.
You need to decide before you ask whether or not you want the
information, and who you want it from.
The only assistance they have here for helping you choose comes in words
like "stroke", "dead", and "track record".
I'd suggest choosing a teacher with a good track record, but that 's up
to you.
