No, it is to show how fast you have to descent to catch someone, but the big point is discovering the drop while you are getting sufficient lift to stop the descent and then controlled lift bringing the diver up plus stability on the surface. It may change some peoples minds about cylinders or stages or BC's and most definitely will prove that the lift bag in this instance does not work very well. unless you drop all the way to the bottom with the diver in trouble. I have used this in training scenarios and it makes a lot of points that are difficult to convince one of by description only.
