I live and dive in Sweden, way up north, and would not prefer to dive any other way than hogarthian. I dive both caves and wrecks and dont ever find a reson to make major changes to the configuration betwen different dives. Have met divers diving one setup in caves and the day after another way on wreck including stuffed longhose and breathing the short hose and using ean 80 and diving deep on air. These guys tends to end up with a life full of adrenaline and exitement. Not from the actual impression of the object they are diving but due to the way they preform the dive it self. With a Halcyon wing you will not have any problem finding were to put the reel and lift bag. If you prefer to use a sausage, put it in the suit pocket. I would put the rest of the tools you mention in the garage back home if the actual dive did not demand them. Bring only the important equipment that you need to do the dive, not the stuff that you might need if you ever would be that lucky to find a car to repair down there:-) take care, Rich At 19:44 1998-07-16 EDT, RLucas1013@ao*.co* wrote: > > >How does one rig gear for wreck diving with the Hogarthian and Doing it Right >concept? if the water temp is cold vis is about 8" to 10' and carrying a lump >hammer, crow bar, goodie bad, lift bag, reel ,sausage, dive alert and redundant >mask >and a buddy which may or not be there because of conditions. no comments from >the peanut gallery or bathtub divers please, i would appreciate a comment from >only wreck divers who have been there done that. >BOB > >> Rich, not looking for a car to repair or any think else for that matter, not looking to sight see either with the exception of artifical reefs. There still are some wrecks that give up artifacts fron time to time in this part of the world. BOB -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
