Actually, diving air and 50 50 is less narcotic than diving 32 nitrox.
however, this is a "mute" point since only a stroke does either one. The
correct thing to do is dive trimix for that dive with NO deco gas at
all. 

The big problem is that the agencies do not understand any of this, and
so we are seeing people dive busllhit mixes, bullshit gear, bullshit
deco, and the result is bullshit, just like when we try to read their
dislexic, convoluted, nonsensical bullshit explanations.

We use trimix deco gas at 130. 

We use air for NOTHING. We use the lowest AED we can get wtih the gas
banks. We dive PPO2's in the 1 to 1.2 range. We do the deco according to
reality, not fear and loathing. But then, we have much different results
than the rest of you , now don't we?
