I compare the dive boat more to a plane with clients geting ready to jump out - they are performing the "thrill" from your "facility". You are also taking out people who are supposed to be trained to participate, unlike the common "skiing" analogy. Checking for C-cards and checking log books, looking for certain levels for certain dives is all you can (and should) do. But you and I both know that is no the case. You would not take a certain JANE DIVER to advanced dives because you know she is not capable. Hell, she has to borrow the equipment. But when you found out the she was diving on another vessel in the EDBA, did you inform that boat, as well you should have. Did she have the credentails to get on that boat as an unkown??
