We have been hanging 100% from the boat via extra long hoses for some =
time now. Usually this tank on board is an AL 80 tied/strapped to some =
non movable object on the boat. I have been going thru traditional =
gauges and hoses from the on deck abrasion and bumps. Would a mini hp =
gauge (that screws directly into a hp port on a reg) be warranted for =
this usage? In particular are they reliable. Are they likely to get =
bumped, crushed, spindled or mutilated? Certainly the issue of being =
unable to read them is moot on the boat. Please note the hanging gas is =
backup or safety deco gas. I believe contingencies are good. Yes I carry =
deco gas with me.

So I ask are these mini gauges any good ???=20
